Terms of Service

1. Service provider

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using FlowSub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service.

3. Permitted use

You may use FlowSub to transcribe and subtitle content that you own or have the legal right to process. You agree not to:

  • Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • Use the service to process illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
  • Resell or sublicense access to FlowSub without written permission
  • Use automated tools to submit uploads in violation of plan limits

4. Free plan & advertising

The free plan includes up to 30 minutes of transcription per calendar month. Unused minutes do not roll over to the following month.

The free plan includes display advertising served by Google AdSense. By using the free plan, you acknowledge that non-personalized ads will be displayed during your use of the service. Pro subscribers do not see ads.

5. Paid plans & billing

FlowSub offers the following paid plans:

  • Pro Monthly — $12.00 USD per month
  • Pro Annual — $99.00 USD per year ($8.25/month)

Both Pro plans include unlimited transcription minutes, all export formats (SRT, VTT, TXT), subtitle translation, and video preview with synced subtitles.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from the Manage Subscription page in your dashboard; your plan will remain active until the end of the paid period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.

6. Intellectual property

The FlowSub software, brand, user interface, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Antonio Foti. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.

The subtitle files and transcriptions generated from your uploaded content belong to you. By uploading files, you confirm that you have the rights to do so and grant FlowSub a limited licence to process them solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. AI accuracy disclaimer

Transcriptions and subtitles are generated by artificial intelligence (OpenAI Whisper) and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. FlowSub makes no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting subtitles before any production or commercial use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Italian law, FlowSub's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €10 if you are on the free plan.

FlowSub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Service availability

We aim for high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable prior notice, except in cases of emergency or legal obligation.

10. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice in cases of serious breach. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Italy.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also have the right to submit disputes to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
